Our son is 28 now, but I can remember those times when I wish I could have pegged him to the wash line!!

Too funny! One of my brothers was next to impossible for my out Mom to keep track of. He was 2 or 3 years old and my Mom put the handle of the dog leash under the dining table leg and hooked the other end to my brother's bib overalls. She went into the kitchen to work. She came back into the dining area to check on Bob and all that she saw was a pair of bibs at the end of the leash - Bob was gone! Maybe if she would have pinned him to the clothes line ... no that probably would not have worked either!

Very cute. I think I wanted to do that with my little brothers too! The sad thing is that today's clothespins aren't strong enough to do this anymore! My husband tried to clip some ball cards in the spokes of his bike (yes, he is a jokester) and the clothespins wouldn't hold. Just another change I will have to get used to!

That sure reminds me of the things my older brother used to do, get us to sit down at the clothesline pole and put our hands around it. Then he tied our hands, one kid at a time. He ran off to play with his friends. Mom had told him to take care of us. Most of the time it was only one of us tied there, it was lonely. He was a sneak and when we were four or five, we fell for it every time!
